How FillWise handles Form I-129

FillWise fills this form the regular way: the AI reads each field's printed caption, its tooltip and its options, and answers from your notes. It works, but on a form with this many fields expect to correct more by hand than on a short one.

The PDF is encrypted with an empty password; FillWise opens it like any other.

It also carries Adobe XFA data; FillWise fills the regular fields and drops the XFA part, so the result opens in any reader.

What to check before you file

Filling Form I-129 for many clients

Bulk fill in your FillWise account takes Form I-129 and a CSV or Excel sheet with one client per row. It fills the first one and stops so you can check the result, then fills the rest and hands back one zip. Each copy costs 8 fills, the same as filling it on its own. For one client's whole case, add Form I-129 with Form G-28 and Form I-539 and paste the client's notes once: every form is filled from them. How it works step by step: bulk PDF form filling guide. Common Questions

Which supplement goes with Form I-129?

The one for the classification you request: Part 5 says to attach the Form I-129 supplement relevant to it. The official PDF carries them after Part 9: E-1/E-2, Trade Agreement (TN and H-1B1), H, H-1B and H-1B1 Data Collection and Filing Fee Exemption, L, O and P, Q-1 and R-1.

Can one Form I-129 cover more than one worker?

Sometimes. Part 2, Item 5 asks for the total number of workers and points to the instructions for when more than one can be included; each extra person goes on an Attachment-1 sheet, without repeating the beneficiary named on the form. Unnamed beneficiaries are allowed only on H-2A or H-2B petitions.

Who signs Form I-129?

The petitioner or its authorized signatory signs Part 7, and a preparer other than the petitioner signs Part 8. Some supplements add their own signatures: in the H-2A/H-2B section of the H supplement, the petitioner signs Part A, the employer signs Part B when the petitioner is its agent, and each joint employer signs Part C.
