FillWise ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our FillWise Chrome extension (the "Service").

2. Information We Collect
We collect the following Google user data:
- Basic profile information: your name and email address (via Google OAuth)
- Google Sheets access: when you explicitly grant permission, we access only the specific spreadsheets you choose to fill
We do NOT collect or store:
- your Google password
- content of your emails
- content of your Google Drive files (except temporarily for spreadsheets you're actively filling)
- your contacts or calendar data
3. How We Use Your Information
We use Google user data ONLY for:
- Authentication: verifying your identity and creating your FillWise account
- Spreadsheet filling: accessing and filling Google Sheets when you explicitly request it
- Account management: associating your subscription status with your account
We NEVER use Google user data for advertising purposes, selling to third parties, marketing unrelated products, or any purpose other than providing core form and spreadsheet filling functionality.
4. Data Storage and Security
We do NOT sell, transfer, or disclose Google user data to third parties, except:
- Claude AI (Anthropic): form/spreadsheet content is sent for AI processing but NOT stored
- Legal requirements: when required by law or valid legal process
Third-party services that support our infrastructure but do NOT receive Google user data include:
- Google Cloud Platform (hosting)
- Google Analytics (anonymous usage statistics only)
- Payment processors (receive only payment information)
5. Data Protection and Security
We implement industry-standard security measures:
- OAuth 2.0: we never see or store your Google password
- Encryption: all data transmission uses SSL/TLS
- Limited access: only minimum necessary permissions requested
- No persistent storage: form and spreadsheet content processed in real-time only
- Regular security audits: we review our security practices quarterly
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Account data: retained while your account is active.
Google user data: authentication tokens are refreshed as needed and deleted upon account deletion; profile information is deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request; document content is never stored and is processed transiently only.
Deletion requests: email us at fillwise.ai@gmail.com to delete your account and all associated data.
7. Your Rights and Controls
You can:
- Revoke access: remove our access to your Google account at any time via https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Delete your account: request complete data deletion
- Access your data: request a copy of data we store about you
- Opt-out: disable specific features that use Google data

- AI prompts and generated content (processed in real-time only)
- Payment card details (handled directly by payment processor)
9. Browser Extension Permissions
Our Chrome extension requires certain permissions to function:
- Google account authentication (for login only)
- Google Sheets API access (for spreadsheet filling — no data is stored)
- Access to web page content (for form filling — no data is stored)
- Storage (for saving extension preferences locally)
- PDF access (for reading and filling PDFs — processed locally, no data sent to servers)
10. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Limited Use Disclosure
FillWise's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We will notify you of any material changes via email notification to your registered email, a prominent notice in the extension, and an update notice on our website.
